Dr. J. Nikki Gaylord is an assistant professor at Murray State University in the Center for Communication Disorders and an adjunct professor at Âé¶¹´«Ã½¹ÙÍø of Health Professions. Dr. Gaylord has been a practicing speech-language pathologist for 25 years. She completed a doctorate of clinical science in speech-language pathology in 2019 from Âé¶¹´«Ã½¹ÙÍø of Health Professions and a doctorate of education in P-20 leadership from Murray State University in 2022. Dr. Gaylord’s current research interests include exercise-induced laryngeal obstruction in athletes, exercise-induced dyspnea, voice disorders, and ethics in speech-language pathology.
